Main Features
- Keyhole plate toileting Sling
- Easy to undress while in the Sling
- Saves two unnecessary lifts
- Built-in Keyhole Plate Safety Straps
The RPH Keyhole Access Sling is a quick to fit and easy to remove Sling and is more like a Bodex Sling than a conventional lifting Sling. The advantage of this Sling is that it is easy to undress patients while in the Sling and it saves two unnecessary lifts to put a patient on a bed to undress and dress them.
The RPH Keyhole Access Sling can pick up from the floor or a bed. However, as it does not have a head section, a Carer should sit the patient up before fitting the Sling. If the patient is lying down, help support the patient’s head until they have been lifted into the sitting position. A webbing handle is provided at the back of the Sling to help guide patients into chairs. Normally however, the patient, already in a good sitting position, can be lowered directly into a chair.
We incorporate special Safety Straps with our Keyhole Plate Slings as an extra safety measure. These may stop the Patient falling to the floor if a Keyhole Plate comes off the stud or breaks, and can prevent a serious accident. Click on the picture for further information.
