The Non-Slide Chair/Bed Pad can help prevent people from sliding down when sitting in a wheelchair and most types of chairs, such as office and recliner chairs, etc. It is also possible to use the Pad to help prevent people from sliding down in a bed. The Pad can assist people to sit upright, improving pressure care, posture and breathing.
When a person slides forward in a chair it can increase the pressure on the coccyx area, and may also affect their breathing. Sitting correctly can also help with eating, compared to being slumped in a chair. This product can also help Caring Staff save time when Patients do not need to be re-positioned regularly.
The Non-Slide Chair/Bed Pad is suitable for people who are able to sit down correctly with their bottom at the back of the chair. When sitting on the Pad, it will be difficult to slide, unless the person is very active and moves a lot on the chair. If they are not able to sit still, the Pad may not be suitable for them.
