About the device

The device is a state of the art, fully mobile 4G personal medical alarm for the elderly, including an SOS button, built in fall detection and GPS location.

Just like a mobile phone, a pre-paid sim card from any Australian provider is inserted into the device. It therefore will work anywhere there is a 4G mobile signal. It can be used at home, or on outings to the shops etc. Mobile credit is purchased from the mobile provider.  For example, the cost is $30 per 6 months with Telstra.

How does it work?

When the wearer needs help they simply hold down the large SOS button on the front of the personal alarm:

An SOS text message is sent to the nominated contacts. Up to three contacts of the user’s choice can be programmed, including 000. The text message includes a Google Maps link which shows the precise location of the wearer.

The device then calls the 1st nominated contact and then 2^nd contact etc if the previous contact does not answer their phone. The device’s two-way hands-free speech allows the wearer to speak to the contact on speaker mode.

To set up the device, simply insert the sim card, enter the contact numbers you would like, and the device is ready to go.

• SOS Button

If the user presses the SOS button on the alarm, it will activate a voice call as well as sending an SOS text to up to 3 emergency contacts. The wearer then can talk into the device on speaker mode.

• GPS Location

It sends a precision Google Maps link in the SOS text message. The device can also be precisely located at any time by sending it a text message prompt.

• Charging dock

An easy to use charging dock makes charging the device a breeze for users with poor eyesight and difficulty plugging in cables. The device is simply placed on the dock.

• Water Proof

Waterproof & Dust Tight (IP67 rating). It can be worn in the shower or in the rain.

• Fall Detection

This device has a state of the art fall detection alert feature that will sense a fall and notify the contacts.

• Fully Mobile

Works anywhere there is a mobile phone signal; at home or at the shops etc. Protects the user wherever they are.

• Different wearing options

The personal alarm can be worn with a lanyard to be worn around the neck, this is included in the package. It can also be worn on a wristband like a watch or on a belt clip. The wristband and belt clip can be added as options as you add the product to the Cart.
